I'll tell you right now, I don't believe there's anything in the world that could even come close to preparing you for your first child. All the emotions, and fears that scramble through your brain in those nine months are nothing compared to the final nine hours before you take your new family member home.
But no matter how nervous or scared you feel as the hospital staff loads you into your car it's the most incredible feeling to enter your house with your 'family' and know right then and there, that you're home.
