Dragon Ball GT TCG Demo
After creating the video demo for the Yu Yu Hakusho trading card game, it seemed we were on to a good thing. The combination of a friendly, helpful guide combined with 3d animated illustrations of game mechanics performed very well for the new card game.
So, when Score Entertainment was wrapping up development of their new Dragon Ball GT trading card game, it was time to roll the cameras and render the cards.
This time around we even had the luxury of starring Chris Sabat, the voice of several characters in the American version of the TV show. We even made sure we had more than a 2 week timeline to start and finish the project.
The whole thing was shot in one of the larger conference rooms at Score. And the set was pieced together from a stripped down trade show background, black drapes (from the same display), and a repositioned video projector which was much more accustomed to showing spreadsheets and Power Point presentations.
Everything went smoothly and the video was included as an extra feature on several of the Dragon Ball GT episode DVDs.
